Manager Construction (m/f)


Aufgaben:
  • Manage the development of framework contracts and tenders for general and sub-contractors within each market.
  • Identify opportunities and manage cross cluster tenders for supply of elements such as HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning), Lighting, PP equipment, stock racking.
  • Working with Store Development managers and WE finance to ensure all remo closure periods are practical and in line with WE P&L expectations.
  • Review standardised contracts, processes and tenders documents for the appointment of 3rd party consultants, contractors and suppliers as required by the Director of Store Development.
  • Analysis of capex and due diligence reports prior to BPMs submittal.
  • Review and improve due diligence tools for all store formats and, roll out across WE providing training or sourcing 3rd party support as required.
  • Manage the development of assessment tools to review exiting portfolio, identify investment priorities to improve consumer experience with minimal cost.
  • Define as new packages of investment between ‘full remo’ and ‘don’t touch’ to maximize the potential of lower performing stores.
  • Track full annual capex spend, working with SD market managers and finance to ensure agreed SD capex is correctly invested within the financial year.
  • Review materials and processes used in both Franchise and Own retail within markets, support markets to achieve consistency between the channels.
  • Ensure all purchases and appointments are done in line with agreed market and global policies.
  • Train 3rd parties as required
  • Other duties as requested by the Director of Store Development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  •  Strong communication skills
  • Advanced numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office
  • AutoCAD skills an advantage
  • Fluency in English (other European languages an advantage)
  • Geographical mobility
 
Requisite Education and Experience:
  •  Degree in project management for the building industry, civil engineering or architecture or equivalent professional experience
  • 2 - 4 years project management experience within the architectural or construction industry or equivalent experience
  • Experience of store development processes and principles
